On August 3, 2021, Japan became the first country to claim that they have achieved a Zero Homeless population rate. Today, around the world, the race has begun to realise a Zero Homeless population. At one stage or another, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, we all would have experienced first-hand how all of us came together to help everyone and anyone in need. Every human being from every walk of life came together.

As such, we know that living with a Zero Homeless population is achievable, what more in a country such as Malaysia, where we have rich cultures, strong familial bonds and believe intensely in helping each other no matter what the cost. If anything, Covid-19 has taught us that everything is fleeting, so let us unite together as a community and champion the My Qaseh Zero Homeless Initiative that was developed for Malaysians, by Malaysians.

OUR PRINCIPLES

We have four main principles

Hope

Our aim is to ensure that we resonate Hope with humanity

Second Chances

In providing Hope, our first task is to offer Second Chances to those who have been displaced, are suffering and are homeless

Humility

Our organization needs a high level of humility as this is an initiative that involves management of troubled and displaced people, who have been through hardship.

Empowerment

We will empower the homeless with the opportunities that will enable them to improve their living conditions

what we do ?

OUR WORK

We are working with the Government and NGOs

We have a unique and holistic approach to managing and empowering the current homeless population in Malaysia. Our work encompasses obtaining real-time data, health screening, training, assimilation as well as job placement. We will also work with relevant authorities, non-government and non-profit organisations to provide temporary housing for the homeless.

PETAL

1) Real-Time Data

With real-time data, we will be able to plan on the extent of assistance we will need to provide. For the initial stage, we will be working on eradicating homelessness based on location.

PETAL

2) Categorise The Homeless

The homeless will be categorized based on their wants and needs in phase 1. Priority will be given to the homeless who want to improve their lives and have been displaced by the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic.

PETAL

3) Temporary Housing & Training

The homeless population who wants a second chance will be given temporary housing and job training for their preferred jobs based on their skill sets.

PETAL

4) Providing Healthcare Assistance

The homeless will be evaluated until such time they obtain a certificate of fitness from their healthcare providers or counsellors while under our care.
